Daily inspiration, tips and encourgement from Ara đź’›
Hello [%first_name | there%],

I hope this email finds you well.

This part of the cleanse really brings in the “knowing of experience.” Through the simplicity you’ve created in your routines around food, notice how much more space there is to become aware of your relationship with food, your environment, with others, and with yourself.

Please hold yourself with so much love and kindness, you are doing an amazing thing! Even if you aren’t doing everything by the book, you have taken the time to engage with the most important part of your life on a deeper level - YOU.

Today's Cleanse Challenges:

1) Walking Meditation: A beautiful teaching from Thich Nhat Hanh, was understanding the potency of a walking meditation practice. Instead of walking to get somewhere, walking meditation truly invites us to slow down and to turn our attention to each step.

You can do walking meditation in nature, in the city, or even just walking around your home. All you need to do is simply connect your awareness to the sensations of lifting, stepping and then placing your foot. It can be helpful to pay attention to your breathing and sync your steps and breath. You might even repeat a mantra to yourself with each step: "Each step is a miracle"  "I am home” “ Sat Nam” “So Hum” “Sa Ta Na Ma.”

The practice of walking meditation doesn't need to be long (just a few minutes can be a helpful reset in a busy day), and you don't necessarily even need to carve out special time to do it. You might just consider doing walking meditation when you head to the bathroom, kitchen or another particular place in your home or workplace. The simple act of slowing down our steps instead of rushing to a destination is simple but powerful medicine.

Have a beautiful day :)
