Welcome to the transition phase!
You did it! 🙌 Day 12 is here! 🙌 You are now in the transition phase.  

How do you feel?

Remember to take things slow this morning (or all day!) if you did the castor oil flush last night. You may notice that your appetite is really diminished this morning, listen to your hunger cues and have some rice porridge (or juice, a little kitchari or something else super light) once any morning eliminations have stopped and you feel ready. Alternatively, if your digestive fire comes back online more strongly, feel free to eat some oatmeal, kitchari or any of the alternative dishes in small amounts.

Enjoy simple, plant-based foods that are cooked and easily digested: Soups, broths and purees are ideal. Fish can be phased in towards the end of the transition period. 

  • Slowly reintroduce diversity. Try to add in dairy, soy, wheat, nightshades and eggs one at a time over the next few days and notice if you have any reactions. 
  • Avoid foods your body is intolerant of. 
  • If you are taking triphala, continue that but begin to phase out any other cleansing herbs you might be taking.

Today's Cleanse Challenges:

1) Reflective Journaling: I highly recommend that you spend a little time reflecting on your experience over the past week. This is a nice way to celebrate any victories over obstacles you overcame, recognize your dedication, and also notice that the challenges all eventually passed or transformed, no matter how daunting they may have seemed at the time. You might also write some notes to yourself as a reminder of how you feel in your body after eating this way for a week. It can be motivating to come back to these notes in the future.
